It takes both cunning and viciousness to hold their lofty position, and successful Clawlords must be willing to stoop to any foul end and fight like cornered animals in order to keep their star in the ascendant. Accumulating favours from members of the other Great Clans is a fine way to do this, and so the most powerful Clawlords will ride upon a Gnaw-beast bred by the Clans Moulder – a gangly, shrieking abomination whose hunger is even more voracious than that of its Skaven master. | ||
